Coach Becky brings you FUN ways to amp up your Walking Routine!

Adding some functional movements while you’re walking will add an extra challenge to your routine. This is going to help keep this interesting while also sprinkling in some additional benefits to your walk.

These movements are going to help open up the hips and stretch the legs out of the typical range of motion. They are also going activate different parts of the body that are usually not working during a traditional walk like the arms and the core stabilizer muscles.

One of the most important variations is switching up the place of motion, like moving laterally with side steps. This is going to strengthen the hips, ankles, knees and increase your ability to balance. Don’t forget to move in both directions to work each side of the body.
