Perfect ISN’T the goal!

Of course you want to workout and exercise as much as possible, but sometimes it’s just not possible. There are a number of issues that can come up that will hold you back from your workout, you get sick, injured, family problems etc.

These inconveniences are all normal and you need to tell yourself they are minor, short term, and you will make it past them. Many people get discouraged that if their exercise streak is broken up that they are a failure. This self doubt is the reason missing one session, leads to two, or three, and then you’re out of the rhythm and not going at all.

DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP! You need to stay positive, and be your own best influence and tell yourself that these minor set backs are healthy, and short term. Make a place, and once you can make it happen you’re going to jump back in. Take the day, and prepare for the future. Your fitness journey is a marathon, not a sprint.
