McKirdy Trained High Performance athlete, coach and 61:46 Half Marathoner Harvey Nelson is preparing for a fall Marathon. On the program today is a double threshold session. The morning involves 3 x 2 mile efforts at threshold with 2 minutes recovery at 6750ft (2050m) elevation. The afternoon consists of 4 x 1 mile efforts at a slightly higher elevation with 1 minute recovery. McKirdy Trained Founder and Head Coach James McKirdy shares plenty of insights into how his squad approaches distance running training.
