Paul Chelimo – Intervals (600s, 400s, 200s)

“I wasn’t hitting workouts this fast before Rio 2016”

Paul Chelimo hits his final hard workout before the Tokyo Olympic Games 5000m with training partners and Team USA Olympians (3000m steeplechase) Hillary Bro and Benard Keter. “Ironboy” Dante Augustt assists with pacing duties throughout the workout as well.

The workout was planned to be 2 x 600, 2 x 400m, 2 x 600m, 2 x 200m, 800m, 2 x 600m, 2 x 200m, 2 x 400m but after completing the first two set of 600’s faster than planned, the 800m interval was skipped. Recovery between each interval: 2-3 minutes.
